At Met Express, we believe Drivers are the backbone of the economy and in this position you will get a chance to learn how to work with them on a daily basis. You'll utilize both an operational and relational skill set as you ensure that our Drivers are getting the support they need to keep freight moving.
About this opportunity
The Driver Manager role is vital to ensure that our drivers feel supported. This position will be a great way to learn entry level skills into the world of transportation.
Pay and Schedule
This position is Monday - Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm. The pay range is $50,000 - $60,000/year dependent on experience.

- Cultivating a good relationship with drivers
- Manage on time pick-up and delivery by tracking and tracing loads
- Recognizing patterns and irregularities through individual and collaborative efforts.
- Handle urgent situations in a professional manner
- Communicate in a fast paced environment
- Strong time management and organization skills with great attention to detail
- Demonstrated PC aptitude including knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel
